Pachuca announces signing of Keisuke Honda
Keisuke Honda, once tagged as a "Japanese Maradona," is heading to central Mexico.
On Friday, in the early hours of the day, Club Pachuca announced the signing of Honda, who will join Los Tuzos to play in Liga MX's Apertura, the Copa MX, and the Club World Cup, for which the team qualified by conquering the CONCACAF Champions League. The Japanese midfielder was last employed by AC Milan, where he was limited to just eight Serie A appearances in the previous season.

Honda struggled to find minutes in his final season at Milan, and, after parting ways with the Rossoneri, trained with Orange County SC, a club from the United Soccer League that is Los Angeles FC's official affiliate in the league.
