Following the opening round of the Safeway Open in Napa, Calif., on Thursday, John Daly joined musician Gavin DeGraw on stage to belt out Tom Petty's hit "I Won't Back Down."
Petty passed away Monday night at the age of 66 after suffering cardiac arrest.
