As expected, Kyrie Irving's wallet is slightly lighter.
The NBA fined the Boston Celtics point guard $25,000 Sunday for using inappropriate language in response to a fan during Friday night's game, the league announced.
Irving was captured on video responding to a fan's shot regarding LeBron James at halftime of Boston's 102-92 win over the 76ers in Philadelphia.
Asked Saturday if he regretted the remark, Irving said "hell no," but apologized if children heard the comment. "I take full responsibility for what I said, excuse the kids at home," he said. "You move on."
