Canadiens face Wild without Drouin, Weber

Jean-Yves Ahern / USA Today Sports

The Montreal Canadiens are taking on the Minnesota Wild without two more key players.

Jonathan Drouin and Shea Weber are both absent from Thursday's lineup due to injuries.

Drouin left Tuesday night's win over the Vegas Golden Knights with what the club would only classify as an upper-body ailment. Weber has what the club would only call a lower-body injury. He got hurt in practice Wednesday, according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun.

Both players are day to day.

The Canadiens were already playing without all-world goaltender Carey Price, who has been out since last Thursday with a minor injury of his own.
