Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis intends to retire after the 2018 season, the veteran told Brooke Cersosimo of NFL Network.
The two-time Pro Bowler overcame three ACL tears over the course of his standout career.
Davis said last week he expects a "reduced role" next season, according to Bryan Strickland of the Panthers' official site.
The 34-year-old has spent his entire career with the Panthers after being selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft.
