Report: Diddy, Kaepernick working to form ownership group to buy Panthers
Sean "Diddy" Combs is set to meet with potential investors as he seeks to form a potential ownership group to purchase the Carolina Panthers from owner Jerry Richardson, sources close to Combs told Yahoo's Charles Robinson.
Additionally, Colin Kaepernick - who tweeted Monday he wanted in on Diddy's bid for the Panthers - has also reached out to potential investors. Sources close to the free-agent quarterback said he and Diddy have a "shared vision" for the ownership group, added Robinson.

The two reportedly had a lengthy phone conversation about the pivot's role in the ownership group.
"The interest is real and it's moving forward," the source said of Combs and Kaepernick working together. "They want to make this a reality. It's serious."
Kaepernick is currently suing the NFL for collusion. He has been out of the league since opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March.
The Panthers were put up for sale after allegations were leveled at Richardson for workplace misconduct.
