Kurt Coleman is staying in the NFC South.
The veteran safety agreed to terms on a three-year deal worth up to $18 million with the New Orleans Saints early Saturday morning, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapaport.
Coleman, who will turn 30 in July, is familiar with the Saints after spending the last three seasons with the division-rival Carolina Panthers.
He amassed 76 tackles during his 12 starts last year, but was released by the club Monday.
In New Orleans, Coleman will be an experienced voice amid a young safety corps that includes Vonn Bell and Marcus Williams. The team is expected to let Kenny Vaccaro leave in free agency.
