Twittersphere in awe after Warriors dismantle Rockets in Game 1
The almighty Golden State Warriors make it look so easy, even when they're battling a 65-win team like the Houston Rockets.
The reigning champions went into the Toyota Center on Monday night and took home-court advantage away from the No. 1-seeded Rockets with an impressive 119-106 victory in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.
All anyone on social media could talk about afterwards was how unbeatable the Warriors appear to be, and how the series with Houston may already be over after just a single outing.
You are a terrible basketball fan if you don’t appreciate how fun the Warriors are to watch. I feel honored that the biggest basketball forces are them and LeBron #WhatATime

In all seriousness. These Warriors are the greatest team we've ever seen assembled in the history of the NBA. Just appreciate that we're witnessing this in real time instead of seeking opportunities to get memes off. Our kids are gonna ask us about this team.

Almost like the 2nd best player in the league joined a 73 win team. https://t.co/bUk9470UD4

Warriors superior in EVERY facet. It’s almost like Houston is missing one crucial piece #LeBrockets

I don't know how you can beat the Warriors when they've got all four guys even when Steph isn't all the way Steph

I’m with Chuck & Shaq now. Warriors in 3

Kevin Durant is the end game for the Warriors. It’s unfair and unbeatable. Sucks for the rest of the NBA.

Steph Curry made one three-pointer all game and the Warriors beat a 65-win team on the road by double digits lol

The Rockets were at home. They had nearly a week to prepare. They got 40+ from James Harden. And they still lost by double figures. That's bad news for Houston and bad news for the NBA. Nobody is even CLOSE to the Warriors

I’m not surprised the Warriors won. I’m surprised how F’ing easy they made it look in winning. #TheyMakeMeSickWithHowGoodTheyAre.

It honestly doesn’t feel like an overreaction to say this series is over after 1 game. This was supposed to be the “Rockets are different” game. Harden was incredible, Steph sucked, Draymond was crazy, and the Warriors still won by 13

Playing the Warriors is the Battle of the Bastards but the Knights of the Vale never come

Almost feel bad for the Rockets. They cared (very publicly) about securing home court for soooooo long, and in 48 minutes the Warriors (who did not give AF for the whole season) easily stole it away. Whole new season now.

For all the "Kevin Durant ruined the NBA" people...the Warriors might be one of the greatest teams ever assembled, they're fun to watch and there probably won't be many teams in the history of the NBA like them. Enjoy it. Enjoy great basketball.

The Rockets won 65 games this year and their best player went off in Game 1 and they lost by double digits. Warriors ain't fair
