With the No. 37 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings selected Duke guard Gary Trent Jr., then reportedly traded the Blue Devil to Portland, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Trail Blazers will reportedly send two future 2nd-rounders to Sacramento.
Tabbed as one of the best pure outside shooters in this year's class, Trent Jr. - the son of former nine-year veteran Gary Trent - enters the league off a single season with the Blue Devils in which he averaged 14.5 points while converting 40.2 percent of his 3-point attempts.

What the analysts are saying
- "Having a strong body helps him play more physical. While he’s not a tremendous athlete and he lacks explosiveness, Trent isn’t afraid to drive inside and use his strength to fend off defenders. Because he’s not very agile and is pretty slow laterally, there are some concerns about him defensively in the NBA." - Josh Cohen, NBA.com
- "Like Jayson Tatum the year before, Gary Trent Jr. was a designated scorer at Duke whose skill set was overshadowed by other NBA-level players. Trent is an assassin from the 3-point line who can get a bucket in a pinch, but his lack of defensive awareness was a net-negative for the Blue Devils - and likely will be in the NBA if he doesn't improve considerably." - CBS Sports
