Washington Wizards shooting guard Jodie Meeks has picked up his player option for the 2018-19 campaign, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 30-year-old reserve will be on the books for $3.5 million next season.
The nine-year NBA veteran produced his lowest scoring output since his rookie campaign in 2017-18, scoring just 6.3 points per game with 1.6 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.4 steals in 14.5 minutes a night.
Meeks was also suspended for the Wizards' playoff run this spring after testing positive for Ipamorelin and Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2, which are banned substances under the NBA/NBPA's Anti-Drug program. Meeks will likely miss the start of next season to fulfill his 25-game suspension.
