Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek received a five-minute major for interference on New York Islanders defenseman Johnny Boychuk during Saturday night's game.
Voracek caught Boychuk with a Peter Forsberg-like reverse hit in the third period. Boychuk then appeared to say "I will get you" to Voracek as he left the ice for medical attention. Boychuk didn't return to the game.
The Islanders took exception to the hit, as Josh Bailey received a two-minute minor for roughing on the play. When Voracek returned to the ice following his penalty, Scott Mayfield took a run at him in an unsuccessful attempt to spark a fight. Mayfield received 10 minutes and a game misconduct on the play.
The Flyers won the contest 5-2.
