New Madden 20 career mode will include 10 college teams
The latest edition of the Madden NFL series will give fans the option to play as their favorite college football quarterback.
A new career mode called "Face of the Franchise: QB1" will allow gamers to create their own quarterback and follow them from the College Football National Championship playoff through to the NFL draft and beyond.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Madden NFL 20 cover athlete Patrick Mahomes inspired and contributed to the development of the career mode, according to EA Sports.
Gamers can choose from 10 college programs: Florida, Oregon, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, LSU, USC, Texas, Clemson, Miami, and Florida State.
In order to include college football in the game, EA Sports had to reach licensing deals with each of the schools, Alex Kirshner of SB Nation reports. EA Sports canceled its college football series in 2013 in the wake of a lawsuit involving players' likenesses in the game.
