Memphis Grizzlies guard Marcus Smart will miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed with a partial tear of the proximal extensor hood of his right index finger, the team announced Saturday.

Smart sustained the injury during last Saturday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks. The former Defensive Player of the Year has missed the Grizzlies' previous three games.

Smart's averaging 9.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.3 boards across 18 appearances this season.

Memphis forward Santi Aldama is also week-to-week with a left ankle sprain. The 23-year-old was injured during Thursday's blowout victory over the Toronto Raptors.

Aldama's averaging career highs in multiple categories, including points (13 per contest), rebounds (7.3), assists (3.0), and field-goal percentage (50.8%).
