Report: Juventus accept Tottenham's €70M bid for Dybala

Juventus have accepted Tottenham's €70-million offer for Paulo Dybala, according to Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio.

Next, the Argentine must agree to personal terms with the Premier League side.

Manchester United were reportedly interested in signing Dybala as part of a swap deal involving striker Romelu Lukaku, but backed out of negotiations when the midfielder demanded wages on par with David De Gea and Alexis Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Dybala was reportedly happy to stay and fight for minutes at Juventus even if he wasn't guaranteed a role in Maurizio Sarri's lineup. He scored just five Serie A goals in 30 appearances last season and failed to impress either on the wing or as a false nine.

Juventus have openly shopped Dybala this summer in hopes of balancing their books. The Bianconeri are also on the verge of selling Joao Cancelo to Manchester City for around €30 million and the rights to fellow full-back Danilo.

Tottenham could end up replacing Christian Eriksen with Dybala, who has similar playmaking abilities. United are hoping to sign Eriksen at a discount before the Premier League's transfer deadline on Thursday, according to The Telegraph's James Ducker.

Spurs are reportedly keen on Philippe Coutinho as well. The Brazilian international is apparently available on loan after an inadequate 18 months at Barcelona.
