Ex-NHLer Roenick: MJ scored 52 points after day of golfing, drinking
Former Chicago Blackhawks star Jeremy Roenick has added to the list of legendary Michael Jordan tales.
While appearing on 670 The Score's "McNeil & Parkins Show" on Thursday, Roenick recalled his golf outing with Jordan in 1992 or 1993 that involved some gambling and drinking.
"We played a round, beat him for a couple thousand, and I'm getting ready to leave," Roenick said. "Now, Bulls are playing that night - they play Cleveland that night. So I'm thinking he's leaving, it's 10 o'clock. He's like, 'No, let's go play again.'"
Roenick estimates Jordan drank "maybe 10 Bud Lights" during the outing and went on to score 52 points that evening, and the Bulls won by "26 or something."
