Mika Zibanejad had a night he'll never forget.
The New York Rangers center scored five goals in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Washington Capitals, including the overtime winner.
Zibanejad is just the fourth NHLer since 1996 to record five goals in a game. Don Murdoch (1976) and Mark Pavelich (1983) are the only other Rangers players to accomplish the feat, according to NHL Public Relations. He's also the second player in league history to score five goals with an OT winner and the fourth player ever to find twine in all four periods, per ESPN Stats & Info.
The 26-year-old has now scored 38 goals on the season, including 20 over his last 19 games.
