Report: High number of players want to join Brady in Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly the belle of the ball thanks to the blockbuster signing of Tom Brady.
A "high number of players" are contacting the Bucs wanting to join the former New England Patriots quarterback in his new home, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The club will surely be aggressive while trying to improve its roster around the 42-year-old and maximize his remaining playing window.
While Tampa Bay will soon be able to focus on acquiring players looking to join the six-time Super Bowl winner, the team first needs to officially secure Brady's signature.
The veteran and the Bucs are still trying to finalize the contract language, but there are "no problems foreseen," according to Schefter.
The location of Brady's physical and who the doctor will be under the league's COVID-19 rules are the holdups, a source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
However, those issues could be resolved as soon as Thursday, according to Jeff Darlington of ESPN.
Whenever the deal is done, Brady will reportedly take home around $30 million per season.
