🏀 Hiatus Diaries: Trae finds new 1-on-1 partner, 'Toosie Slide' takes over
With a pandemic suspending sporting events worldwide, athletes suddenly have tons of time on their hands. In the latest installment of our weekly NBA series, we look at how they've been keeping themselves entertained - and in shape - while self-isolating.
Ibaka puts DeRozan on the spot
Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka is no stranger to the social media spotlight.
This week, the Raptors center hosted the first round of auditions for his virtual talent show on Instagram Live. The winning contestant will receive a signed Ibaka jersey and $20,000 toward COVID-19 relief in their city.
San Antonio Spurs forward DeMar DeRozan crashed the first episode and agreed to match his former teammate's donation. But on DeRozan's next appearance, Ibaka put the fate of one contestant entirely in the former Raptor's hands.

'Toosie Slide' challenge takes over NBA
Drake's newest single, "Toosie Slide," has birthed the latest viral challenge - and players across the league are getting in on the dance craze.
New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball showed off his moves alongside a pair of friends.
The "Toosie Slide" has also become a family affair. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Jordan Clarkson of the Utah Jazz both performed renditions with their brothers, while Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James got his wife and three children involved.
Allen embracing new look
Ray Allen has been retired for a few years, but the Hall of Famer is still finding ways to fuel his competitive fire.
The ex-Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics star has committed to growing out his hair for the duration of the pandemic, and he's challenged current and former NBAers who are bald or soon to be bald - including LeBron and Shaq - to do the same, even if it means exposing their receding hairlines.
Luka's hairy dilemma
Speaking of hair, Dallas Mavericks wunderkind Luka Doncic has joined many members of his NBA cohort in growing a quarantine beard.
The normally clean-shaven Doncic is rocking quite the shock of facial hair these days, and he recently conducted an Instagram poll to see if he should keep his new look.

If there's one person who can relate to Doncic, it's Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes.
The last time we saw Barnes, he was on the wrong end of a 42-point blowout in the players-only NBA 2K tournament. But at least he remains committed to the vow he made earlier this season.
Harrison Barnes isn’t cutting his hair or shaving until the Kings hit .500 or the season ends. He made the vow in mid-December and looks pretty rugged these days.

Trae finds new 1-on-1 partner
With social-distancing measures in place, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young resorted to a one-on-one matchup in his driveway against his french bulldog, Normi.
The All-Star guard has one of the nastiest handles in the league, but Normi hounded every movement before ultimately surrendering a basket.

Maybe Normi will make an appearance in Sunday's NBA HORSE challenge.
Steph puts peers on notice
Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry reunited with former teammate JaVale McGee on Friday during an Instagram Live session on the NBA's account.
"The Pierre Show" featured its fair share of ribbing, including McGee calling Curry a "ball hog" after the latter spelled out the word during a game of Hangman.

The two-time MVP also put his peers on notice with the confidence of a true shooter.

Curry has never scored 60 points in a single NBA game, but he has cracked the 50-point mark on six separate occasions.
