Report: NFL reviewing Antonio Brown's off-field incident

The NFL is reviewing an incident involving Antonio Brown after the receiver was accused of property damage last month, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The review is standard procedure as the league wasn't aware of the incident prior to Brown's reinstatement, Pelissero adds.

A police report alleges the Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver destroyed a surveillance camera, berated a security guard, and threw his bicycle at the security gate.

The incident took place two weeks before Brown signed with the Bucs, and police didn't charge him.

The veteran receiver said Monday he "regrets that he lost his cool that day and he has made amends with the HOA," according to a statement released.

The league also continues to monitor Brown's other off-field incidents, including a civil case scheduled for a hearing in January, Pelissero notes. The wide receiver could face discipline if the NFL discovers violations of the personal conduct policy.

Brown recently signed a one-year deal with Tampa Bay after serving an eight-game suspension for unrelated personal conduct violations.
