Race favorite Epicenter settled for second place, while Creative Minister came home third. Epicenter also finished second at the 2022 Kentucky Derby behind Rich Strike.
Rick Dawson, Rich Strike's owner, passed on the opportunity for the illustrious Triple Crown by choosing not to run at the Preakness Stakes and focus instead on the Belmont Stakes.
It's the second Preakness victory for Early Voting's trainer, Chad Brown, who previously won with Cloud Computing in 2017.
Here's how the $2 bets paid out based on Saturday's results:
NO. | Horse | Win | Place | Show |
