Ryan Truex: Third in Atlanta Xfinity Race

Truex finished third in the Raptor King of Tough 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday evening.

Analysis:

Truex would be the lone Toyota driver to crack the Top 5 Saturday evening in Atlanta. The Joe Gibbs racing driver would not have the speed to lead any laps, but Truex would become a factor in the outcome when a late caution would set up a restart with 2 laps to go. Truex would be in the mad scramble coming to the checkered flag when Daniel Hemric would make contact with Parker Kligerman, sending him into a spin. Truex would slide past and promote to third-place right at the finish line. It was his second Top-5 finish in just two starts this season.
