Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield expressed his frustration with the team's season following Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts that dropped Tampa Bay to 4-7.

"Until everybody gets pissed off enough to get it fixed, there will be no changes," Mayfield said postgame, per Jenna Laine of ESPN. "I know where I'm gonna head at the end of this week. I'll get my job fixed and try to drag as many people along as well."

The Bucs started the 2023 season with a 3-1 record but have since lost six of their last seven games, including their last two. Tampa Bay opened the scoring with a first-quarter field goal versus Indianapolis but wasn't able to do much in the following drives as the Colts scored 17 unanswered points. Indianapolis didn't trail again in the contest.

Mayfield finished the day with 20 completions on 30 attempts for 199 yards and two touchdowns against one interception. He was also sacked six times.

"One game back in the division, so our goals are still in front of us," Mayfield added. "But it's frustrating to not win these games and to continue to hurt ourselves."

Mayfield, 28, joined Tampa Bay on a one-year contract this past offseason. He completed 64.6% of his passes while posting a 91.5 passer rating entering the Colts matchup.

The former No. 1 pick suffered an ankle injury early versus Indianapolis. He briefly left the game but was able to return and finish the contest.

"Didn't feel very good. ... It'll be pretty sore tomorrow," Mayfield said of his ailment, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. He's set to have an MRI on Monday, per Laine.

The Atlanta Falcons, who defeated the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, currently lead the NFC South with a 5-6 record.
