The Toronto Blue Jays and right-hander James Kaprielian agreed to a minor-league contract.
Kaprielian hasn't pitched this season after undergoing shoulder surgery last August.
The 30-year-old owns a 4.61 ERA with 1.35 WHIP and 8.0 K/9 over 318 innings (58 starts) since debuting in 2020 with the Oakland Athletics.
Kaprielian's best season came in 2021 when he authored a 4.07 ERA with 123 strikeouts over 119 1/3 innings while making 21 starts and three relief appearances.
