San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk is experiencing minimal financial effects from the pay cut he took this offseason thanks to the success of wife Kristin's fashion business.

Juszczyk told Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle that while it was a blow to his ego to accept the pay cut, the licensing deal Kristin inked with the NFL earlier this year has helped offset the financial losses.

"Quite frankly, she's already made up for my cut. So that definitely helps," he said. "You want to feel valuable. You want to feel wanted. And, so, it stinks when they tell you you're not worth that much, and your ego comes into play, and that does hurt a little bit. But when it comes down to purely financials, that softens the blow."

Kristin's designs went viral last season after pop star Taylor Swift wore a custom jacket featuring boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's jersey number.

In January, Kristin reached a licensing deal with the NFL, allowing her to use official league logos on her designs.

Despite his pay cut, Juszczyk remains the highest-paid fullback in the NFL with an annual salary of $4.5 million, according to Over The Cap.
