Rams' McVay happy to have Kupp: 'I expect it to stay that way'
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay wants to keep Cooper Kupp on the roster despite trade rumors surrounding the wide receiver.
"I'm really glad to have Cooper Kupp back with us and I expect it to stay that way," McVay said after Thursday's 30-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings, per NFL Network's Bridget Condon.
McVay confirmed that teams have inquired about the veteran wideout's availability, according to The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue. The coach added that some recent speculation isn't true and has been addressed.
Kupp said earlier this week that he's focused on producing for the Rams and ignoring trade rumors.
The 31-year-old returned to the lineup for the first time since Week 2 in the victory over the Vikings. He caught five of his eight targets for 51 yards and a touchdown.
