Bengals' Burrow: 10-win season is still 'doable'
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow still hopes to win 10 games and make the playoffs despite dropping to 3-5 with Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
"We got to win seven out of nine," Burrow said after the 37-17 defeat, per ESPN's Ben Baby. "That's doable. It's doable, so we'll go from there."
Reaching the 10-win mark would likely send Cincinnati to the playoffs. All 33 teams that have won at least 10 games since 2021 have made the postseason, per Baby.
Burrow completed 26 of 37 attempts against the Eagles for 234 yards, one score, and one interception. The 27-year-old has 1,993 yards, 15 touchdowns, and three picks this year.
The Bengals sit 17th in yards per game (325.3), tied for 10th in points per contest (24.4), 24th in yards surrendered per game (358.6), and 23rd in points allowed per matchup (25.4).
"Teams are just finding ways to win games and we're not," cornerback Mike Hilton added. "I don't know what it's going to take or what we have to do. But we have to find a way, or the season will be over real quick."
The Bengals' upcoming schedule includes a home matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders, a road contest against the Baltimore Ravens, and a road game against the Los Angeles Chargers before a Week 12 bye.
