Cash added that McClanahan will undergo imaging Sunday to determine the injury's severity.
McClanahan missed the entire 2024 season after undergoing his second Tommy John surgery in August 2023. The two-time All-Star was slated to pitch without any restrictions this year after fully recovering from the procedure.
The 27-year-old left-hander owns a career 3.02 ERA with 1.10 WHIP and 10.1 K/9 over 404 2/3 innings (74 starts) since debuting in 2021.
