Steelers fans chant 'Fire Tomlin' in loss to Bills
Pittsburgh Steelers fans at Acrisure Stadium chanted for Mike Tomlin to be fired during Sunday's 26-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills, an unusual moment for the NFL's longest-tenured head coach who's never had a losing season.
Tomlin said postgame that he understands the fans' disappointment after the team's second straight loss and third defeat in the past four games.
"I share their frustrations tonight. We didn't do enough. That's just the reality of it," Tomlin said, according to Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Fans at Acrisure Stadium also booed during "Renegade," the Steelers' popular rally song played in the fourth quarter of every home game.
Notably, the Steelers have posted 18 consecutive non-losing seasons under Tomlin. They're 6-6 in 2025 and still tied atop the AFC North with the Baltimore Ravens, who they'll face next week.
Although Pittsburgh has reached the playoffs in four of the past five years, the team failed to advance past the wild-card round in any of those runs. The Steelers - who've won one Super Bowl under Tomlin's watch - haven't enjoyed a playoff victory since the 2016 season.
The 53-year-old Tomlin is under contract through the 2027 season.
