Parekh sets Canadian record for most points by D-man at single WJHC
Calgary Flames prospect Zayne Parekh set a new benchmark for points by a Canadian defenseman at a single world juniors.
Parekh accomplished the feat with a secondary assist on Canada's fourth goal during Monday's bronze-medal game against Finland, his 13th point of the tournament.

The Calgary Flames drafted Parekh ninth overall in 2024. The Markham, Ontario, native already has 12 NHL games under his belt.
