Report: Giants' Hudson to replace Bumgarner at All-Star game
The San Francisco Giants took a bit of a gamble when signing 38-year-old Tim Hudson in the offseason, but he's rewarded them with an All-Star worthy performance in the first half of the season.
Giants have been told Hudson is going to All-Star Game. It'll be his fourth appearance, first since 2010.

Hudson inked a two-year, $23-million deal in November after spending the previous nine seasons with the Atlanta Braves. The right-hander started the season 7-2 with a 1.81 ERA over his first 13 starts but has since appeared more mortal in his last five starts, going 1-4 with a 6.07 ERA.
The appearance marks the third trip to the Midsummer Classic for Hudson, who will take teammate Madison Bumgarner's place as he's eligible to skip the event due to him starting on Sunday.
