Here is theScore's daily fantasy season in review for the AFC East:

New England Patriots
Record: 12-4 (1st in division, 2nd in conference)
Points (Rank): 465 (3rd)
Total Yards (Rank): 5,991 (6th)
New year, same old Patriots. QB Tom Brady entered the season with the threat of suspension hovering over his head. Not only did that not happen, but Brady went out and threw four TDs in Week 1 against the Steelers. He threw 11 TDs and zero interceptions in his first four games and had just seven picks all season long. It's what he does. ... The Patriots running game was unpredictable. LeGarrette Blount led the team with 703 rushing yards on 165 carries and six TDs. ... Dion Lewis ran a bit. So did Brandon Bolden. James White had 56 yards and Steven Jackson even showed up for 21 carries. Blount was the only one with consistent DFS relevance, but outside of his three TDs in Week 3, he was not a standout at the position. ... Injuries plagued Patriots receivers down the stretch. It's no surprise the Patriots were undefeated when Julian Edelman played. He set a career high with seven TD receptions in only nine games. Over the course of a full season, he had a chance to break his career high in yards, too. ... Danny Amendola had a few games where he returned value, but with only three TD receptions, he was limited. ... TE Rob Gronkowski opened the year hot with three TD receptions in Week 1. He reached the 100-yard plateau five times and finished with 11 TDs. He was Brady's No. 1 target almost by default, and yet didn't return value relative to salary.
DFS MVP: Tom Brady

New York Jets
Record: 10-6 (2nd in division, 7th in conference)
Points (Rank): 387 (11th)
Total Yards (Rank): 5,925 (10th)
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick had his best season as a pro with career highs in yards (3,905) and TDs (31). He started a bargain and finished one as DFS sites never raised his salary to match his production. ... RB Chris Ivory was the go-to back, but he hardly set the world on fire. He had excellent back-to-back games against Miami and Washington, but he faded down the stretch without a TD in seven of the Jets' final eight games. ... WRs Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker were among the most consistent at the position. Even when Marshall managed only three receptions on 10 targets in Week 10, he took one to the house. Decker only went three games without a score. Marshall did that only four times. ... No tight end featured consistently enough to warrant DFS consideration.
DFS MVP: Brandon Marshall
DFS Dud: The tight end position

Buffalo Bills
Record: 8-8 (3rd in division, 8th in conference)
Points (Rank): 379 (12th)
Total Yards (Rank): 5,775 (13th)
Even though Rex Ryan's new team made sure his old team didn't make the playoffs, it's safe to say 2015 was a letdown. QB Tyrod Taylor impressed enough in 14 games - 20 passing TDs and four on foot - that it's reasonable to assume he'll make further strides in 2016. ... RB LeSean McCoy wasn't bad. He averaged 4.4 yards per carry. The problem is he only ran for three TDs. Joe Flacco ran for three TDs. When so much DFS value is found in the end zone, McCoy just didn't live up to expectations. ... Rookie backup RB Karlos Williams was more valuable than McCoy because his salary was often lower; he ran for more TDs (seven) and he caught a pair of scores. ... WR Sammy Watkins, however, finished tied for 14th with nine TD receptions. Even though he missed three games, he was easily the most productive member of the offense. ... Robert Woods finished a distant second with 552 receiving yards. ... TE Charles Clay was erratic. Four different weeks saw him make a single catch. Twice, he caught nine. The average was somewhere in between.
DFS MVP: Sammy Watkins
DFS Dud: LeSean McCoy

Miami Dolphins
Record: 6-10 (4th in division, 11th in conference)
Points (Rank): 310 (27th)
Total Yards (Rank): 5,307 (26th)
Not much seemed to work with any kind of consistency for the Dolphins. QB Ryan Tannehill started the season near the top in quarterback salary and it slowly fizzled away. Sure, he managed 4,208 passing yards - good for ninth in the league - but his 24 TD passes just didn't live up to what was expected. He went four times without a TD pass. Not good. ... More frustrating was Miami's handling of RB Lamar Miller, who is almost assuredly going to be on another team in 2016. Miller averaged 4.5 yards per carry and scored eight TDs. He only once carried the ball 20 times in a game. In six games, he didn't even manage double digit carries. He should have been among the league's best. Watch for him early in 2016 as his price will probably be lower than it should be. ... WR Jarvis Landry was the only Dolphins player worth rostering week in and week out. Even though he only caught four TDs, he totaled 1,157 yards and recorded fewer than 40 yards only once. ... WR DeVante Parker barely played early but he turned into a legitimate deep threat down the stretch, finishing third on the team with 494 yards. ... TE Jordan Cameron seemed like a perfect fit. And while he managed to stay healthy, he only caught 35 passes on 70 targets. Cameron was a colossal bust.
DFS MVP: Jarvis Landry
DFS Dud: Jordan Cameron
