Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was forced to the sidelines in Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers after suffering a hamstring injury.
Stewart had been favoring the back of his right leg in the first quarter, before the team officially confirmed the ailment and ruled him questionable to return.
Fozzy Whittaker and Mike Tolbert will take on the backfield workload in the event that Stewart is unable to return for the rest of the day.
