Jets' Wilkerson inactive vs. Ravens

New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson is inactive Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens due to an ankle injury suffered last week.
Wilkerson's absence is a substantial blow to the only Jets position group that's been able to play with any sort of consistency en route to a disappointing 1-5 start.
The fact that he was considered a game-time decision bodes well for his chances of returning to the lineup by next week, but New York already finds itself in a must-win scenario every time the team takes the field.
Rather than deploying a rotation of their elite talents up front, the Jets will now rely heavily upon a starting defensive line group of Sheldon Richardson, Steve McLendon, and Leonard Williams in looking to knock off the Ravens.
