Report: Giants have interest in former Jets center Mangold

The New York Giants have expressed interest in free-agent center Nick Mangold, Pat Leonard of The New York Daily News reports, citing a source.
Mangold, a seven-time Pro Bowler, was released earlier this month after playing the first 11 seasons of his career with the New York Jets.
While it's unclear whether the Giants would have a transition to guard in mind, a player with Mangold's track record could certainly provide a much-needed upgrade to the offensive front either way.
The 33-year-old started all but four games over his first 10 seasons before an injury limited him to just eight contests in 2016.
