Dorial Green-Beckham will be seeking his next landing spot as an unrestricted free agent.

The young wide receiver, who was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles last week, went unclaimed off waivers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.

Teams passing up the opportunity to scoop up a former second-round pick under the relatively inexpensive terms of his original rookie deal is indicative of the way Green-Beckham has been unable to translate his gaudy physical skills into on-field production over his two NFL seasons.

After first landing with the Tennessee Titans in the 2015 draft, the 6-foot-5, 237-pound pass-catcher recorded 32 receptions for 549 yards and four touchdowns across 16 games.

The underwhelming and inconsistent rookie campaign was enough for the Titans to give up on Green-Beckham and trade him to the Eagles in exchange for backup offensive lineman Dennis Kelly. He'd manage just 36 catches for 392 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his lone season in Philadelphia before being waived.

Green-Beckham will presumably now have to settle for some sort of "prove it" deal if he's to catch on elsewhere and get another chance to make good on his potential.
