Beth Mowins becomes 1st woman to commentate NFL game in 30 years

Beth Mowins became the first woman to commentate an NFL game in 30 years when she took over the play-by-play during Monday's game between the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers.
Mowins was joined by former New York Jets and Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan for the second game of the Monday Night Football doubleheader.
Gayle Sierens became the first woman to announce an NFL game in 1987.
Mowins previously covered college football for ESPN and has also worked on FIFA Women's World Cup coverage during the course of her career.
