Mike Evans has avoided ejection against the New Orleans Saints despite clearly throwing a forearm into the helmet of cornerback Marshon Lattimore.
Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston - on the sidelines after injuring his shoulder in the first half - came off the bench and appeared to touch Lattimore's helmet, to which the cornerback responded.
Evans then came flying into the picture and leveled Lattimore before striking him in the head with a forearm.
The star wideout was given a 15-yard penalty for the outburst, but remained in the game. Lattimore and the Saints defense have shut Evans down throughout the contest, holding him to only one catch.
The incident comes shortly after A.J. Green and Jalen Ramsey were ejected from the Bengals-Jaguars game for a fight.
