The Jones family legacy is set to continue at Arkansas as three-star quarterback John Stephen Jones announced his commitment to the Razorbacks Sunday.
The grandson of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is ranked by ESPN as the 54th-best pocket-passing quarterback in the class of 2018, and the 213th overall prospect in the state of Texas. He made national headlines last season by throwing for over 500 yards in the Texas State title game at the Cowboys' AT&T Stadium.
Jerry Jones attended Arkansas and was co-captain of the Razorbacks football team in 1964. His grandson held offers from Kansas, SMU, and Texas Tech before opting to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and head to Arkansas.
