NFL confirms Nashville will host 2019 draft

The NFL draft is about to get a lot more musical.

The league confirmed Wednesday that Nashville will host the 2019 NFL Draft after owners approved the city's bid.

After 50 years of holding the draft in New York, the league recently decided to cash in on the increasing popularity of the event by awarding it to new cities.

Chicago was the first to be given the honor in 2015, while the last two drafts have been held in Philadelphia and Dallas, respectively, to much acclaim.
