It wasn't a lengthy partnership due to a season-ending knee injury, but the Deshaun Watson-DeAndre Hopkins connection certainly had Houston Texans fans fired up during the 2017 campaign.

The rookie quarterback and star receiver showed excellent chemistry from Watson's first start on, and that potential has Hopkins excited about their future together.

"It gives me chills sometimes just to think about what we did in the little time we had together," Hopkins said after OTAs on Wednesday.

After Watson entered the opening-week game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars at halftime, the pivot connected with Hopkins 44 times over seven games for 599 yards and seven touchdowns. The former Clemson stars showed that, when healthy, they are as dangerous as any tandem in the league.

As for Watson's return from the knee injury that ended his season? He looks to be in midseason form in his accuracy to Hopkins at OTAs.
