This season could feature a wide variety of NFL jerseys, as Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reported that clubs will be allowed to wear alternate/throwback or color rush jerseys three times in 2018.
The previous rule allowed teams to wear said jerseys a maximum of twice per season, with the color rush uniforms being donned on Thursday Night Football.
Teams will no longer have to wear color rush apparel on Thursday nights, and will instead get to choose up to three times throughout the year that they can wear different jerseys.
