Report: Tyreek Hill expected to be fine after limping off field
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is expected to be fine after limping off the field during Tuesday's practice with a bruised quad, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Hill took a hit from cornerback Bashaud Breeland and had his right leg examined on the sideline before climbing into the passenger seat of a cart and heading back to the facility, according to Kimberley Martin of Yahoo.
The Chiefs definitely don't want to see Hill riding the cart, but it appears the star wideout won't miss any time due to the injury. He's coming off a breakout season in which he caught 87 passes for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns.
There were questions about whether he would miss at least part of this season after the Chiefs suspended him from team activities in April amid allegations of child abuse. In an audio recording between Hill and his then-fiancee, the two discussed injuries to their son, but the district attorney's office opted against pressing charges. Following a four-month NFL investigation, the league decided not to discipline him.
Hill was then reinstated and returned to the team for training camp.
