Report: Raiders to be active at trade dealine
The Oakland Raiders are expected to be buyers during the Oct. 29 trade deadline, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The team has already called around the league interested in linebackers and pass-rushers, Schefter adds.
The Raiders lost linebacker Vontaze Burfict for the season due to suspension, while the team ranks 28th in sacks (nine) through five games. In 2018, the club's first year without star outside linebacker Khalil Mack, the Raiders finished last in the league in sacks with 13.
Coming off a draft with three first-round selections, Oakland has five picks in the first three rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft, including two first-rounders.
The Raiders acquired Zay Jones in a trade with the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 7.
They sit 2nd in the AFC West after six weeks with a 3-2 record.
