Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank is continuing to support head coach Dan Quinn following a 37-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, he told Jeff Schultz of The Athletic.
After a 7-9 campaign last year, the Falcons have stumbled to a 1-6 record this season. They've averaged fewer than 22 points per game while allowing more than 31.
This is the ninth time that the franchise has started a season 1-6, but it's the first under Quinn's command.
The 49-year-old took the job in 2015 and has posted a 37-34 regular-season record since, with postseason appearances in 2016 and 2017. His best campaign with the club came in 2016 when Atlanta won 11 games and reached its first Super Bowl since 1998.
