Report: Vikings' Thielen expected to play vs. Chiefs
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen is expected to play Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, returning to action after missing one game with a hamstring injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.
The injury, suffered in a Week 7 victory over the Detroit Lions, kept Thielen out for last week's Thursday night win over the Washington Redskins.
He was a limited participant throughout this week of practice and was ultimately listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
Thielen's return is a major boost for the Vikings in a matchup with the AFC West-leading Chiefs, as he and Stefon Diggs combine to form one of the NFL's premier receiver tandems.
Prior to the hamstring issue, the 29-year-old had racked up 27 receptions for 391 yards and six touchdowns.
