Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry says he's ready to go for his team's must-win regular-season finale against the Houston Texans.
"Anytime you can get some time to rest, it's a good thing. I love football. I love playing the game. I'm definitely ready," he said Thursday, according to ESPN's Turron Davenport.
Henry, who's posted 338 yards and three touchdowns through three games in December, missed Tennessee's Week 16 tilt against the New Orleans Saints due to a hamstring injury. It was his first time being inactive this season.
The 8-7 Titans control their own destiny. They can clinch their second postseason berth in the past three seasons with a win over the Texans.
