Hurts, Herbert among top QB performers in 40-yard dash

Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts put his athleticism on display Thursday at the NFL Scouting Combine, finishing second in his position group in the 40-yard dash with an impressive time of 4.59 seconds.
Among other quarterbacks with notable performances in the combine's main event were projected 1st-round picks Justin Herbert at 4.68 and Jordan Love at 4.74.

Expected No. 1 pick Joe Burrow did not participate in combine drills, choosing instead to wait for his LSU pro day. Tua Tagovailoa, another top quarterback prospect expected to be selected early in the first round, was unable to take part due to his ongoing recovery from a hip injury.
