Report: Peyton turns down another MNF offer from ESPN

Former quarterback Peyton Manning turned down another offer to join ESPN's Monday Night Football booth, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

Manning is still not willing to enter the broadcast booth and commit to the weekly schedule in the fall, sources told Marchand.

ESPN was reportedly hoping to acquire NBC's Al Michaels and pair him with Manning on Monday Night Football.

Manning, a future Hall of Famer, has apparently declined multiple offers to join the MNF booth since retiring from the NFL after the 2015 season.

Former quarterback Tony Romo recently inked a 10-year, $180-million deal to continue calling games for CBS, and ESPN was reportedly prepared to give Manning a similar contract. Manning has already done "Peyton's Places" and "Detail" shows for ESPN+.

Currently, Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland comprise ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast team.
