Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones denied the report that his team won't make a push for free-agent safety Earl Thomas.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Tuesday that the Cowboys aren't expected to pursue Thomas, even after recently making inquiries. But Jones said he's the only one who knows the organization's interests.

"He doesn't know what he's talking about. The only one who knows that is me," Jones said Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Jones added that the Cowboys are still weighing the possibility of adding Thomas, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

The Baltimore Ravens released Thomas on Sunday, and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Cowboys were considered leading contenders to sign the defender.

The Ravens cut Thomas for "personal conduct that has adversely affected" the organization following his altercation with a teammate during practice. The 31-year-old called the incident a "mental error."

Dallas has been linked to Thomas since his contract dispute that resulted in him leaving the Seattle Seahawks after the 2018 season. The Texas native and Longhorns alum has previously asked the Cowboys to "come get me."

Thomas, a seven-time Pro Bowler, signed a four-year, $55-million deal with the Ravens in March 2019. He racked up 49 tackles, two interceptions, and two sacks through 15 games in his only campaign with the team last year.

He previously built an impressive resume over a nine-season tenure in Seattle after being selected 14th overall in 2010, earning five All-Pro nods and contributing to a Super Bowl win.
