The Kansas City Chiefs are finalizing six-year contracts with head coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach, sources told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The deals will tie both of them to the team through the 2025 season.

Reid joined the Chiefs in 2013 under a five-year pact, while Veach stepped up as the club's GM in 2017.

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes reacted to the report with approval.

Kansas City has posted a 77-35 regular-season record under Reid, making the playoffs in all but one season (2014) with the 62-year-old on the sideline.

The 2002 Coach of the Year owns the sixth-most wins among coaches in league history (222).

Veach, meanwhile, is already considered one of the NFL's best executives despite his short career. After putting together a championship roster, the 42-year-old was able to sign multiple high-profile players to long-term extensions this offseason, including Mahomes, defensive lineman Chris Jones, and tight end Travis Kelce.

Reid's play-calling ability, alongside Veach's solid offseason decisions, helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV, their first title since the 1969 season.
